Fabulous Finish

Dear Parents,

Wow! What a fantastic topic!  The children have really enjoyed our topic ‘Wells to Whitby’ this term – we have travelled across the country studying science, geography, history and art.  All the children have been engaged and produced some excellent work.  For some, they have had to persevere with trickier areas of their learning, but the results have been amazing.  We are very proud of them all.

Our final subject is DT – the brief is to design a snack to eat on the train!  Please look out for the list of ingredients coming home soon – we can’t give it to you yet as the children are designing it themselves.

On Friday 29^th March, the children will have made their snack and would love to share their learning and their snack with you.  The train will depart from the main hall at 2.30 pm.

We would also like to take this opportunity to share some information about Year 6 SATs with you.  These take place in school during the week beginning 13^th May.

We look forward to seeing you in ‘Whitby’ to celebrate the end of our topic.
