Science

At Rusthall St Paul’s the purpose of our science curriculum is to equip all pupils with the knowledge and skills they need to develop their understanding of the world around them. Our curriculum has been devised to ensure a full coverage of the National Curriculum and to foster a sense of awe and curiosity about natural phenomena.  Throughout the school children will have a variety of practical opportunities to embed their scientific skills such as questioning, research and observation.  Children will learn to work independently, whilst also developing their resilience, creativity and confidence.  We also want all children to have a broad technical and scientific vocabulary which they learn, practice and use to communicate their scientific evidence in a variety of ways and which is built upon as topics are revisited.
