We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. The curriculum is divided into seven areas of learning. The Prime areas include Personal, Social and Emotional development, Communication and Language and Physical development. The specific areas include Literacy, Maths, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design.

We learn through planned, purposeful play using a mixture of adult directed and child initiated activities.  A big focus in Reception is being independent and being able to apply our learning in a range of ways. 

We have a flexible approach to our provision and adapt out planning according to the children’s interests and engagement.
