Welcome to the home of Creative Canterbury Class.

Thsi term our Topic is Mystical Mummies!

We look forward to entering the ancient world of egypt with you!

For our stunning start we went mummy mad and mummified some apples in a salt and baking soda concoction. What do you think will happen?

Last term our topic was Hot Rocks.

Our stunning start was a fantastic romp around Rusthall looking at our rocky attractions. Did you know that our local sandstone is a site of British Geological Significance?

Our Marvellous middle was a great day making our own fossils and video confrencing a real Geologist! We hope you enjoyed joining us for our fabuous finish looking around our earthquake safety inventions and erupting volcanoes!

Our Autumn Term topic was The Circle of Life.

Our stunning start was learning about seed dispersal at Mr Norris' land.  We found lots of examples and sorted them into different groups.

We also identified lots of the trees while we were down there too.

Our 'Marvellous Middle' trip to Plumpton College today (20th October 2016). We got to see a real working farm, as well as planting seeds in pots that we made, playing 'The Germination Game' and finding out about other aspects of planting and growing.

For our fabulous finish we celebrated by having an Anglo Saxon Yule with spiced apple juice and stollen around an open fire. Yum!
